About Kees Werkt

KEES Werkt operates in the temporary employment sector using its own methods. Every day and 24/7, we can immediately provide our clients with just the right workers.
In comparison with other agencies, we are distinguished by direct communication, efficient service and speed in finding workers.

We are a dynamic, flexible and professional temporary employment agency that specialises in posting workers to the logistics, production, and agriculture/horticulture sectors. KEES Werkt is a member of the Association of Temporary Employment Agencies (ABU), and complies with the applicable laws and regulations. Such certificates as VRO, NEN and SNF prove that we are a reliable partner.

KEES Werkt has no fixed working hours from 9 AM to 5 PM. Therefore, as a rule, you can reach us whenever you need us.

How does Kees operate?

Workers are extremely important for KEES Werkt. After all, when working for clients, workers are the showcase of our agency. We develop personal relationships with them, so that the established collaboration is permanent and lasting.

After we start the employment, we sign a temporary employment contract with each worker; such contracts are in full compliance with the ABU Collective Agreement. We are pleased with every contract we sign: if we sign one, this means we have gained a new, valuable worker for KEES Werkt.

Apart from the timely payment of salaries and payment of reserves, such as holiday allowance, paid holiday, public holidays and paid short absence from work, we provide workers with support in matters related to family allowance, housing benefit, taxes, consumer bankruptcy, employer certificates, insurance and mortgage applications.

Our workers appreciate our contribution and commitment to their cause. KEES Werkt makes sure they feel at home with us, and are 100% committed to working for our clients.

This is how KEES Werkt operates! For your benefit as well!

How does Kees recruit?

Our clients really want to find the right person for the right position.

Collaboration with KEES Werkt is an excellent choice because of its direct communication, and the goal-oriented and individual approach to clients. We deal with the entire recruitment and selection process involving both executive and managerial staff.

Anti-Discrimination Policy KEES

KEES Werkt is committed to actively and positively contribute to developing the labour market. In order to find best candidates for proposed positions, we pay particular attention during the recruitment process to skills and internal motivations. Such factors as age, sex, marital status, sexual orientation, philosophical or political beliefs, religion, race, ethnic or national origin must not be taken into account in this process.

Definition of discrimination

Discrimination is the direct or indirect less favourable treatment of people because of their age, sex, marital status, sexual orientation, philosophical or political beliefs, religion, race, ethnic or national origin.
Discrimination also includes accepting clients’ requests, asking to differentiate people during recruitment and selection according to criteria that are not necessary or relevant for good performance in a given function.

KEES Werkt Policy

We reject all forms of discrimination.

Clients’ requests, asking to take certain criteria into account during recruitment and selection, are accepted only if they are objectively justified.
Selection according to requested criteria is objectively justified if:

  1. it serves a legitimate purpose. This means that there is a good job-related reason to carry out the selection according to the relevant criteria (e.g. a legitimate purpose is security);
  2. it results in achieving a legitimate purpose;
  3. it is reasonably appropriate (i.e. proportionate) to the intended purpose;
  4. it is necessary because there is no other way to achieve the purpose that would result in less differentiation (the necessity test).

We also do not tolerate discrimination against our employees (from our units) or temporary employees working under direction and supervision of our clients/user employers.

Conduct of our employees (from our units)

Our employees must always be on the lookout for requests from (potential) clients that are discriminatory in nature. Our employees should recognise and deny such requests.
If an employee has doubts as to whether a client’s request, asking to apply certain criteria in the selection process, is objectively justified, or is not sure as how to deal with a (possibly) discriminatory request, the employee may consult their superior or the management, if they prefer to do so.
If an employee notices discrimination or would like to talk about it, report misconduct or raise a trust issue, they can speak to their manager or to the management, if they prefer to do so.

KEES Werkt responsibillity as employer

As an employer, we are responsible for:

  • creating a safe working environment where we treat each other with mutual respect; providing space for open and constructive conversations; and preventing and responding to all forms of inappropriate behaviour;
  • communication and implementation of anti-discrimination policy. This means, among others, informing employees of and making them familiar with this policy, and showing them how to recognise and respond to discrimination as well as to discriminatory requests;
  • evaluation of and possible changes to the anti-discrimination policy.

Policy implementation

As we are a small organisation, we cooperate closely with each other and every employee knows the anti-discrimination policy. Additional measures become more important as the (internal) organisation grows. In order to ensure that this policy is also implemented in such circumstances, we apply the following measures:

  • every employee knows the ABU (Association of Employment Agency and Temporary Employment) information portal werkjijmeezegnee.nl;
  • the anti-discrimination policy is regularly discussed at periodic work meetings;
  • new employees commit themselves to compliance with the anti-discrimination policy;
  • our clients are informed about our working methods and the fact that we do not accept requests of a discriminatory nature.

Complaint procedure

If you would like to lodge a complain regarding discrimination, or report other inappropriate behaviour of employees (of our units), temporary workers or third parties, contact us at klachten@keeswerkt.com. These complaints will go directly to the Kees Werkt management who will deal with them as necessary.
